On September 20, the Hunan Society for Electrical Engineering held an appraisal meeting about the project “key technology and complete system for spectrum-based intelligent online monitoring of transformer oil”. The project was carried out by Hunan Wuling Power Science and Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wuling Power Corporation Ltd..
The appraisal committee agreed that, the project provides a precise and stable measurement for the gas dissolved in transformer oil, based on the TDLAS (tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy) technology. The precision can reach 0.1ppm, higher than the average level at about 5ppm. It innovates in three aspects: long service life (the core components can be used for more than 20 years); no cross interference; and, no need to make calibration during operation. This technology takes the lead in this field in China.
Hunan Wuling Power Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2016. It has developed several online monitoring devices with independent intellectual property rights, and yielded notable achievements in intelligent device research and development; hydropower technical supervision and consultation; digitalized dam construction; industrial standard formulation; and, soft technology research. It has undertaken 46 internal and external sci-tech projects; won 10 awards at ministerial and provincial level, or from industrial associations and the State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC); and, been granted with one patent for invention, 15 patents for utility models, and 35 software copyrights. Seven patents for invention are in the application process.
